Wood for necks (mahogany is good; oak works), 1 pc 1-1/4" by 3/4" by 36" long

1 pc 1-1/4 " by 3/4" by 12"(aprox -- depends on box) long

1 pc 1-1/2 square by 3/16" thick (can be scraps)

Hard wood about 3/8" square by 1" long

Several feet of softwood, about 3/16" square

3 brass escutcheon pins (round-head nails)

2 pcs bone or hard plastic about .1" x 1/4" by 1-1/4"

Fret wire to make 15 frets 1-1/4" long (2' or so)

2 banjo second strings (.012 or .013" diameter)

1 banjo third or fourth string to match

3 geared machine tuning heads

Yellow woodworker's glue

5-minute epoxy

Deft spray finish, clear interior semi-gloss
